"Cannot obtain directory from TerraSync. Please ensure remote device has not been disconnected".

When I start Pathfinder Office and try to initiate a data transfer I received the above error.

I'm currently using: Pathfinder Office 5.60 and the device is a Trimble GeoXH 2005 Series with TerraSync 3.01.

Windows Mobile Device Center detects the Geo and can browse the contents of the device just fine. I tried to restart the Geo. Pathfinder shows the device is connected. The Geo was working just fine until last week until I received the error. Any ideas? Meanwhile I will continue to fiddle with it.

Garrett and I found a work around. I was able to copy my data off through Windows Mobile Device Center then tell pathfinder office to connect to a "GIS folder" and uploaded it that way. However I will let you all know if I figure out anything else.

I updated TerraSync from 3.01 to 3.21 and it seems to have fixed it.
