Esri ArcGIS 10.1 Support for Trimble GPS Analyst Extension Users

Due to fundamental changes to the underlying technology in the 10.1 release of Esri ArcGIS, the TrimbleÂ® GPS Analystâ„¢ extension will not be updated at this time to support the Esri ArcGIS for Desktop software version 10.1.

Options and availability

Organizations performing data collection and maintenance using ArcPad who are wishing to upgrade their ArcGIS installations to 10.1 are recommended to retain ArcGIS 10.0 for the computer(s) which have the GPS Analyst extension installed. As Trimble products add support for ArcGIS 10.1, GPS Analyst users on maintenance will be able to convert at no additional cost.
