I would like to ask if anyone is willing to share your GIS policy and procedures for your organization.

I have the same question. Anyone out there willing to share a GIS policy or Standard Operating Procedure? Also, anyone have a map disclaimer? It would be nice to use another tribes policy, SOP, codes, or disclaimer as guidance to writing our own.

Bad River Band GIS has several SOP's - one important document is our external data sharing policy. I can send that to anyone who's interested.

We also have an approved fee schedule for anyone outside the Natural Resources Department, if you're having issues paying for requests outside of the department that funds you.

I usually come up with disclaimers on the fly, based on what is in the map. Usually something like "for discussion purposes only." But, we do have an official wetlands disclaimer for any map depicting wetlands on the rez. I can send that too, for those interested.
