Is your tribal community utilizing GIS for asset tracking? If so, you are not alone! The push for a more technological approach of managing and protecting your tribal assets is on the forefront of GIS within tribal communities.

Terraflex paired with ArcGIS Server provides a server based workspace where users are able to collect and dynamically update GIS features that can be viewed in the office in real-time. If your tribe is in the process of plotting various tribal assets, you may feel the endlessness that is associated with such a daunting task. Terraflex and ArcGIS Server allow for multiple people to collect data for the same project, and as the data is being collected, a GIS administrator can be updating the data within ArcGIS for Desktop.

Does anyone feel as if this would be a benefit for your community? If so, what types of features would you be collecting? Historic/Archaeological/Cultural, Municipal/Infrastructure, etc.?

Thank you, and I hope to hear some of your thoughts!
